BORE TOLERANCE
The following table lists recommended tolerances and fits between bore and seal.
To measure a seal’s outside diameter (OD), take a minimum of three measurements
equally spaced from one another on the OD and calculate the average. This will
give you an accurate measurement. Out-of-round is the maximum allowable variation
between the readings used to determine a seal’s outside diameter.
