| As a standard, deVries International’s outer and inner
metal cases are produced from carbon steel treated to prevent
corrosion during transportation and storage. In addition to
the standard material shown below, cases can be made in stainless
steel, aluminum, brass, or bronze. |
METAL CASE THICKNESS

| The proper metal case thickness used in a seal is determined
by its outside diameter and intended application. The table
below gives suggested case thickness and corresponding seal
outside diameters. |
